I became a qualified business coach and mentor a few years ago as a way of using all the professional skills and experience I have acquired - and in order to become the kind of coach I wish I had had for all those years! I started out as a documentary researcher in the independent tv production sector, and worked as a business and international news journalist before ending up as a BBC Executive Producer and a Channel 4 Commissioning Editor. I've also worked outside the media, in the the private and public sectors and I ran my own small educational business for a while. I now work with a range of clients, but specialise in the media and creative sector, because it's a difficult sector for business coaches to engage with unless they've been there and stay up to date with how the media sectors keep evolving. I enjoy working with businesses of any size: my only proviso is that the person I'm working with commits to the work needed to get to where they want to be. In return, I also help them to see how to create time for some fun with friends and family. I work out of Clapham and Canterbury, as well as online and I actively welcome new enquiries.
